Our Accommodation
Our farming culture is an expression of a simple and genuine lifestyle which constantly comes up in the attention to detail at the Agriturismo Marciano.Firstly, the subtle renovation of our ancient farmhouse, where we courageously decided to maintain the initial use of each room, reclaiming, if possible, all the original material, from ancient terracotta bricks and typical sandstone, to wooden beamed ceilings.
Our quiet bedrooms are furnished in a simple but refined style, with ancient carpets, curtains, bedspreads and doilies of our grandmothers, and other soft furnishings.
Our three bedrooms and three suites, all with private ensuite bathrooms, heating, and air conditioning, are a wonderful combination of simplicity and the absolute tranquility that they convey.
From each room you can enjoy the view over the gothic-roman bell tower of Siena, the ancient monastery of the Capuchins, and the breathtaking Tuscan hills.
Early risers can admire and photograph beautiful sunrises full of color and sounds of nature.

This double room, with natural wood floors and double bed, with whitewashed walls painted in sky-blue, the typical colour of bedrooms in the traditional local farmhouses, where our ancestors used to have their well-deserved rest after their hard work in the fields that has modelled the unique rural landscape around Siena. Directly from the bed, you can enjoy a lovely view of the Roman Duomo, in the centre of Siena, and of the ancient Meteorological Observatory.Room Services:

This room with natural wood floors is simply but comfortably furnished with a double bed, and white pieces of furniture, apart from the ancient grandfather's desk which is in pine. With an intimate and romantic atmosphere, it has whitewashed green walls, reminding the spring colours of the gentle hills around Siena. It enjoys a lovely view over the century-old oaks surrounding the property gardens, rich in flora and fauna, and on the ancient Meteorological Observatory of Siena.Room Services:

La Suite
Originally "the room with many windows", it was used to dry the grapes for the production of Vinsanto, the typical Tuscan dessert wine. Today, thanks to its large size (55sqm), this room has been converted into a suite: simple but elegant, it is divided into a sleeping area with a double bed and a spacious living room with a sofa bed (which converts to a double bed). All the windows enjoy lovely views: towards the east, over the surrounding hills and over the Meteorological Observatory of Siena; towards the South, over the Arbia Valley, with nearby Montalcino and Monte Amiata. This suite is particularly suitable for those seeking for a spacious room, and for small family groups.Room Amenities:
