By Car

From Rome take the highway Autrostrada A1 in direction of Florence; exit the highway at Val di Chiana, and take the double carriage way to Siena; once in Siena, continue following directions to Florence and exit at Siena Nord; follow the signs to the city centre, until you drive along Via Fiorentina; keep driving along Via Fiorentina until the roundabout, and just before the roundabout take the first on the right signposted Marciano; follow this road until the small church of Marciano; then turn into Strada della Befana; at the end of a small road lined with century-old cypress trees, enter the big red gate on the left: welcome to the Agriturismo Marciano.
Follow the signs and park in our large private car park.

From Florence

By Train

From the Railway Station of Santa Maria Novella, changing at Empoli; from Empoli to Siena the local train ("treno regionale") stops at all the stations.
Travelling by train from Florence to Siena is worth just if you have a seasonal or Eurail pass. Agriturismo Marciano is easily accessible from Siena railway station in 5 minutes by taxi (Euro 10 to 12).

By Bus

From the bus station of Florence (next to the Railway Station Santa Maria Novella), arriving in the centre of Siena – Piazza Gramsci.
The best coach is the one that says Siena rapida, with no stops in-between.
Form Piazza Gramsci you can reach Piazza Matteotti (30 metres away) where you can find taxis to get to Agriturismo Marciano in 5 minutes (Euro 8 to 12).
